Delivery & Installation
What do I need for machine accessibility?
Installation is based on machine access of 8’ width, clear flat path to install location. Read about installation requirements here.
What do I do if I don’t have access?
You can select a smaller tree or request hand installation for trees to a maximum size of 50mm or for evergreens 6-7’.
Do I get a cheaper price if I dig the hole myself?
No you do not. Pre-dug holes often require re-sizing.
Do I need to get utility lines located even if I know there are no lines?
Yes, it is for the safety of our crew and the homeowner. We need confirmation that underground utilities are all located prior to installation of trees. Failure to send us locates in a timely manner prior to installation day will result in delays, re-scheduling could mean sending your work order to the back of the queue. Alberta one call link.
Do I need to be home day of tree installation?
No, if you have your installation location clearly marked with a Countryside tree flag stake, you have your utilities located and unobstructed access to the planting site, leave it to us and we will complete the installation with no need for you to be at home.
What happens if I think there is access but when your crew arrives, they say there is no access?
If you are unsure, please contact us, provide photos and measurements prior to scheduling. If we arrive to plant trees and there is no access, the fee paid for the installation will not be refunded or credited back to you.

Landscape Design & Construction
Do you do landscaping?
Yes! That’s how we got started in this industry. We are well known for our creative and sustainable landscape projects.
How do I get started?
Fill out a landscape inquiry form. Or stop by the garden centre Saturday mornings (March – July or by appointment) to meet with one of our wonderful landscape designers for a free 15 minute consultation.
How much does landscaping cost?
It’s not cheap. To get quality work for a front or a backyard you should expect to spent no less than $10,000. This would be basic planting minimal hardscape. An average size fully landscaped yard you should expect to spend $75,000- 150,000+ . or on average 10% of the home’s value. Of course we are happy to work within any budget, our designers are great at letting you know where to start, whether it be a small project or a 5 year plan.
Do I need a design?
A landscape designer can really help save money by creating planting plans with material best suited for the space, location and design aesthetic. Investing in landscaping can help to enhance your home, increase property value and make it much more fun to spend time outdoors.
When is the best time to get a design plan done?
Now is the best time. Winter is great, we have more time to devote to planning as we are not so busy running projects.
