Description: ‘Issai’Kiwi vines are a hardy vine fruit which produce small sweet edible kiwi’s in mid to late summer. There are excellent options for gardens with high clay content as they can thrive in such environemnts. These perennials are also drought and disease resistant. Kiwi Vines are excellent for covering small trellises or decorative fenses. They do require some summer pruning to maintain the plants shape and winter pruning back to the 3-4 fourth fruiting budon each branch.
