Description:Â All the beauty of a Colorado Spruce without the commitment of a massive specimen tree! The columnar spruce is beautifully upright but in a far narrower form, complete with the silver-blue foliage that makes the Colorado so appealing. Branches are held tightly upright close to the trunk, providing a crisp vertical accent.
Ornamental Features: Attractive steel blue foliage emerges a powder blue in the spring and remains throughout the winter, providing a gorgeous contrast against the white snow. Equally stunning against green deciduous foliage during the growing season, the columnar spruce provides year-round beauty.
Landscape Attributes: Upright, columnar evergreen. Great for year round screening and privacy, but versatile enough to provide structure and form in a number of uses. Wildlife resistant and drought tolerant once established.
