Ornamental Features: Creamy white spring flowers produce compact racemes of tiny black fruit in mid-summer. Its golden exfoliating bark is a desirable winter feature. This is a very distinctive tree with a uniform oval growth habit and very dense, dark-green foliage.
Landscape Attributes: Low maintenance, best pruned in late winter and resistant to black knot. Excellent accent tree and a good choice for attracting birds to your yard.
