Description: A beautiful deciduous shrub with glossy green foliage, white flowers, shiny dark purple berries, and outstanding fall color. It’s unique, low growing habit makes an excellent groundcover or edging plant that provides year round interest.

Ornamental Features: Showy white, cherry blossom-like flowers emerge in mid spring alongside glossy green leaves. Foliage turns a stunning dark orange/red in fall.  Dark purple berries appear in abundance and are a striking contrast to the fall foliage. The fruit is astringent and tastes similar to a chokecherry. The fruit is not suitable for fresh eating but is great for making jams and jellies while attracting wildlife to your yard.

Landscape Attributes: Extremely hardy, low-growing, mound-forming shrub. Low maintenance, and is tolerant of a wide range of soil and climactic conditions.
