Description: A striking dark pink spring-flowering crabapple with a rounded, spreading habit of growth. Redbuds produce dark pink blooms, fading to white as flowers mature. Makes a nice addition to the landscape as an accent or shade tree.
Ornamental Features: Clusters of pink flowers along the branches in mid-spring, which emerge from distinctive rose flower buds before the leaves. Deep purple foliage throughout the season turns dark red in the fall. Fruits are purple-red and 1/2″ in diameter.
