Description: A Hemerocallis ‘Sammy Russell’ is a late season Daylily that produces dark crimson-red, starry blossoms with golden-yellow throats, atop a mound of srching leaves. Each flower typically lasts no more than 24 hours, opening up in the morning and withering during the forthcoming night, possibly replaced by another one on the same scape the next day.
