Description: Among the largest blue-leaves hostas, ‘Gray Cole’ is an outstanding perennial forming a gracefully cascading mound of thick, heavily textured, widely oval to wedge-shaped, dark blue-gray to blue-green leaves. Dense racemes of long-lasting, funnel-shaped, white blooms appear in summer, rising on scapes. A wonderfully good background plant and a favourite among gardeners, but less so with slugs. Grows well in bright shade – shade and even moisture – regular water. Does well in well drained, rich and average soil.
