Description:  Named for its attractive foliage that turns a reddish purple in the fall, this small maple has an upright, spreading habit of growth. An excellent choice for smaller landscapes as an accent or shade tree.

Ornamental Features: Foliage is dark green throughout the season and turn outstanding shades of orange, scarlet and deep purple in the fall. It features abundant showy red samaras in late summer.

Landscape Attributes: Deciduous tree with an upright, spreading habit of growth.  Low maintenance, very drought and anthracnose resistant.
