Description: The multi-stemmed native aspen is a beautiful tree with exceptionally white bark and straight trunk-growth habit. It is highly versatile and well adapted to Southern Alberta. Grows 35 ft tall and 10 ft wide, and can be planted 15-20 ft from buildings.
Ornamental Features: Green foliage throughout the season. Leaves turn an outstanding gold in the fall. The smooth white bark adds an interesting dimension to the landscape.
Landscape Attributes: Deciduous tree with a shapely oval form. Best pruned in late winter once the threat of extreme cold has passed. Excellent shade tree.
