Description: An upright rounded shrub with a compact habit, clusters of white flowers, peeling bark, and bi-colored foliage. A dramatic hedge, screen or specimen shrub.

Ornamental Features: Showy orange foliage on new growth and green on old in the spring ageing to purple in the fall. Clusters of cup shaped white flowers emerge from pink buds in late spring and give way to drooping clusters of burgundy fruit.  Bark peels in strips to reveal several layers of reddish to light brown inner bark.

Landscape Attributes: Hardy deciduous shrub with an upright rounded habit of growth. Low maintenance; can be pruned anytime. Deer resistant and drought tolerant. A great choice for adding winter interest and attracting birds and butterflies to your yard.
