Description: This tree is a special selection of Colorado spruce with intensely silvery blue needles. Outstanding blue needle color. Its smaller stature, but strong pyramidal shape and dramatic foliage color makes it stand out evergreen in any landscape!  Thrives in poor conditions and is very hardy. Tolerates a wide range of well-drained soils, but not standing water. Our best pick for a beautiful, tough tree. One of the brightest blue choices of all the blue spruce we grow.

Ornamental Features: Stunning blue foliage emerges silvery blue in spring, and provides a beautiful contrast against the snow in winter. The rough gray bark adds an interesting texture to the landscape. 

Landscape Attributes: A dense evergreen tree with a strong central leader and refined pyramidal form. A superb choice for unique color and form that won’t overwhelm the space with its size. Once established this tree is drought resistant. Deer normally leave it alone. Can be trimmed to thicken, but usually isnt needed.
