Description: Lamiastrum g. ‘Variegatum’ is a perennial that ranges from evergreen in the Southern zones to dormant in the Northern zones. It has silver variegated leaves that are oval to nearly round and 2″ long. Also known as Yellow Archangel, blooms yellow in the Spring. It prefers regular watering but will tolerate periodic dry soil. Roots at nodes as it creeps. Spreads aggressively when grown in optimum conditions.
Ornamental Features: Deer Resistant, Colourful/ Attractive Foliage, Heat Tolerant, Shade Tolerent. Variegatum Yellow Archangel features subtle spikes of yellow flowers rising above the foliage in mid spring. Its attractive serrated narrow leaves remain dark green in colour with showy silver variegation throughout the season.
