Description:  A strong landscape accent bathed in fuchsia flowers in spring and purplish-red fruit in the fall. Very hardy with a round, upright habit of growth. A stunning ornamental tree for smaller home landscapes.
Ornamental Features: Fuchsia flowers in mid spring emerge from red flower buds before the leaves. Dark reddish-green foliage emerges brick red in spring and turns yellow in the fall. Fruits are purplish-red and 1 1/4″ in diameter.
Landscape Attributes: Deciduous tree with a rounded, upright growth habit. Best pruned in late winter once the threat of extreme cold has passed. Very hardy. Good choice for attracting birds to your yard.
