Ornamental Features: Foliage emerges dark red in the spring ageing to a deep burgundy then turns purple in the fall. Clusters of small pinkish-white flowers emerge from pink buds in late spring and give way to red fruit. Exfoliating bark on mature branches adds winter interest.
