Ornamental Features

The Sundancer Poplar is a fast-growing, tall, and columnar male tree with upward-growing branches. For example, the original tree, located at the Agroforestry Development Centre in Indian Head, Saskatchewan, has reached an impressive height of 21 meters over 32 years, with a crown width of 3.5 meters. Furthermore, its green leaves emerge in late April to early May, eventually turning a vibrant yellow in the fall.
