Deciduous tree with a narrow open crown. Best of all, low maintenance tree, and usually looks its best without pruning. Plus, drought tolerant once established.

A Cold-Hardy, Low-Maintenance Choice for Alberta Gardens

Siberian Larch is a cold-hardy, fast-growing tree that thrives in Alberta’s harsh winters, and yes, it’s built for your landscape. With its narrow pyramidal form and soft green needles that turn brilliant yellow in fall, this Zone 2 deciduous conifer adds bold structure and year-round interest.

Why Choose Siberian Larch?

Even more, its open crown allows light to filter through, which is ideal for yards that need height without blocking everything below. Once established, it handles drought like a champ, and because of its medium to fast growth rate, you won’t be waiting years to see results.

Benefits You’ll Appreciate

Siberian Larch adapts easily, unlike some trees that struggle in Alberta’s soil and climate. That makes it one of the most resilient and rewarding choices for a four season garden. From curb appeal to low maintenance beauty, this tree does more effortlessly.
