Description: This plant is a bushy, clump-forming perennial producing dense, slender spikes of star-shaped, vibrant pink flowers from mid to late summer. Attractive to butterflies, the flowers open from the base upward and create an eye-catching floral display in excess of five weeks. They sway above the bushy foliage mound of lance-shaped, deep green leaves. Its compact habit makes it ideal for the front of the border, as an edging, in containers or rock gardens where it will create a dramatic impact.Â
