Description:  Unique to Countryside and was found west of High River. The Golden Willow is very drought tolerant and adaptable to a variety of soil conditions. With a medium to fast growth rate when established, this willow provides spectacular year round color.
Ornamental Features: Green foliage throughout the season. Leaves turn golden in the fall. The furrowed brown bark and golden branches bring significant winter interest.
Landscape Attributes:  Dense deciduous tree with a more or less rounded form. Best pruned in late winter once the threat of extreme cold has passed. Plant 16-18′ apart.
