Description: One of the most popular and classic foliage perennials, this forms a low mound of ferny, silvery-grey leaves. In humid areas, a hard clipping just as the tiny silver ball-like flowers appear, usually in mid to late June, is beneficial. Plants will regrow quickly and remain tidy all season long. Drought tolerant; this plant is great for hot, dry sites. The unique foliage contrasts and combines well with other perennials in tubs or mixed containers. Divide every two to three years (in spring or fall) in order to maintain vigour.
