Description:  A very hardy, slow growing, compact shrub with green foliage, green/red stems, white flowers and berries. Excellent for massed, border edging or as a small hedge.

Ornamental Features: Foliage is medium green throughout the season turning maroon in the fall. Clusters of white flowers in late spring mature to small white berries in late summer. Smooth bark is green with a reddish tinge becoming blood red in the winter providing incredible color interest.

Landscape Attributes: Multi-stemmed deciduous shrub. Low maintenance; although pruning is not required, removing 20-25% of the oldest stems in early spring of each year, stimulates growth of new stems which display the best color. Deer tolerant and rabbit resistant.
