Description: A very showy, small rounded shrub with purplish-red foliage all summer long becoming brilliant red in the fall. Provides an excellent color contrast and a great choice as an accent, border, hedge, or barrier plant.
Ornamental Features: Deep purplish-red foliage throughout the season on upright arching stems turn an outstanding red in the fall. Clusters of yellow flowers bloom in mid spring and mature into red berries that persist throughout the winter.
Landscape Attributes: Dense multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with a small rounded form. Foliage is more vibrant when planted in a full sun location. Low maintenance, rabbit, and deer resistant.
