Description:  A beautiful columnar accent tree for smaller yards. Bright pink flowers cover the trunk from top to bottom. Glossy purple foliage turning reddish in fall. Small purplish ornamental fruit.

Ornamental Features:  Clusters of fragrant pink flowers along the branches in mid spring. Dark green-variegated deep purple foliage throughout the season. The fruits are purple-red, 1″ in diameter, and carried in abundance from early to mid fall.

Landscape Attributes:  Purple Spire is noted for its purple foliage and dwarf, columnar growth habit.  It serves as an ideal accent tree or summer privacy screen. Low maintenance and good resistance to disease.
