Description:  Fantastic winter color! Cardinal Dogwood is a rapid growing, deciduous shrub with a loose, rounded form, green foliage, red stems, white flowers and white berries. Makes an excellent specimen, border or in masses and a great choice for attracting birds to your yard.

Ornamental Features: Dark green foliage throughout the season turning a brick red in the fall. Clusters of tiny, fragrant white flowers in late spring mature to white ornamental berries. Stems turn bright red in the winter providing four season interest and excellent for cutting.

Landscape Attributes: Multi-stemmed deciduous shrub. Low maintenance; although pruning is not required, removing 20-25% of the oldest stems in early spring of each year, stimulates growth of new stems which display the best color. Deer tolerant and rabbit resistant.
