Zone: 3-8
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Shade
Mature Size: 12-18″ H by 12-18″ W
Flower Colour: Purple/Red
Flowering Time: Late Spring to Fall

Description: A charming and delightfully long-blooming, compact, upright perennial. Deeply divided leaves are attractive on their own, but in late May, dark purple/red, pincushion-type blooms appear, lasting all summer long.
Ornamental Features: The deep, wine coloured flowers are held on dark purple stems and make a beautiful contrast against the finely textured bright green leaves. Possessing an exceptionally long bloom season, they make lovely cut flowers.
Landscape Features: Versatile plant; works well in borders or underplantings. Tolerant of poor drainage and soil conditions. Deer and rabbit resistant. Attractive to pollinators.
