Description: A cross between the tart cherry and the Mongolian cherry produces a high sugar content which makes for excellent for eating fresh; the fruit is large and dark red in color.
Ornamental Features: Fragrant white flowers. Green foliage. Leaves turn yellow in fall. Dark red fruits held in abundance, which are excellent for cooking and baking and making jams and jellies.
Landscape Attributes: Deciduous tree with a more or less rounded form. Best pruned in late winter. An excellent choice for attracting birds to your yard.
