Description: Lovely peach tubular flowers with pale orange interiors and darker orange spots; tall spikes rise above attractive green lance-shaped leaves; a biennial that’s happiest in part shade with adequate moisture
Ornamental Features: Blooms profusely from early to midsummer, foxgloves make a huge impact as a vertical accent in the back border. Great as fresh cut flowers, attracts pollinators and hummingbirds to the garden.
Landscape Features: Good for vertical accent, mass planting, and general garden use. For best impact, plant in groups of 3-4 plants. Deadheading may encourage a late summer or early fall rebloom. Low maintenance, freely self-seeding, and deer and rabbit resistant. Note that all parts of this plant are toxic to humans and animals if consumed.
