Description: Beautiful bright green fiddleheads emerge in spring, transforming into green plumose fronds, most robust in moist or wet locations. It is a clump-forming plant that spreads vigorously by shallow underground rhizomes, making it excellent for filling large areas in a woodland garden or by a stream.
Landscape Attributes: It grows well in wetlands and can be used as a plant for low wet spots, or for restoration of wetland edges and stream banks.
