Description: The colour of the large, 6″ single blooms of this charming, cup-shaped peony is perfectly described by its cultivar name. With a slightly smaller stature than regular garden peonies, this profuse and early season bloomer feature eye-catching crimson-red blossoms with hints of deep coral.
Ornamental Features: This profuse blooming, anemone-style Peony will turn heads in the early summer garden. The brilliant, fiery colours are set off perfectly by the mass of golden stamens in the centers. Makes excellent cut flowers for gorgeous, early summer bouquets.
Landscape Attributes: this is a relatively low maintenance plant, and should be cut back in late fall in preparation for winter. Makes an excellent specimen plant with its fiery, eye-catching colours. Pair with mid and late season peonies for a season of continuous blooms. Deer and rabbit resistant, and extremely hardy.
