Description: The Standing Ovation Little Bluestem grass is worthy of applause all season! This native North American grass features a sturdy upright habit of blue-green foliage with stunning purple accents.
Ornamental Features: Foliage emerges a fresh blue/green in spring and quickly becomes streaked with deeper blue/purple. Feathery, light catching clusters of flowers emerge in midsummer. Foliage continues to deepen in colour, finally turning an intense orange-red in the fall. Enjoy this display of showy colour through most of the winter.
Landscape Features: Excellent for adding colour and texture as a border, accent, in containers, or wildflower gardens. Drought tolerant, resistant to rabbits and deer, and low maintenance. Attracts native pollinators.
