Description: Fast-growing and handsome, Sedum album ‘Coral Carpet’ is a low growing, mat-forming, evergreen succulent perennial with a dense foliage of small, fleshy, finger-shaped leaves. Emerging coral, the rounded leaves mature to bright green as the season progresses before turning red in winter. Clouds of tiny, star-shaped, white to plae pink flowers bloom just above the foliage in early summer. Attractive in full flower, the plant is visited by scores of butterflies. Vigorous, this stonecrop spreads along the ground by creeping stems which root at the nodes.
