Description: A very attractive compact mounding shrub with spectacular colour changing foliage. Deep rose pink flowers contrast beautifully against the variously coloured leaves. An ideal specimen, border or low hedge shrub and a great choice choice for smaller spaces.
Ornamental Features: Small, oval leaves emerge a bright orange-red in spring. The showy pink flowers appear in late spring as the foliage matures to a golden yellow/chartreuse. The luminous foliage brightens the yard throughout the growing season, and darkens to a reddish purple as fall approaches.
Landscape Attributes: Dense multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with a compact mounding habit of growth. Provides an excellent colour accent. Deer resistant. Low maintenance; best pruned after flowering.
