Description: An incredibly long bloomer, its flowers appear nearly nonstop from spring into September. Its rosy pink spires complement mounds of grey green foliage in a stunning colour unique in this species of Salvia.
Ornamental Features: Masses of beautiful spikes of rose flowers with burgundy calyces rise above the foliage from early summer to early fall. Forms a uniform, tidy mound that is attractive even when not in bloom. Thick flower spikes packed with intensely rose, tubular flowers. Attracts pollinators and hummingbirds.
Landscape Attributes: This erect bushy herbaceous perennial grows in round clumps of green, aromatic wavy edged leaves. Excellent in perennial borders, mass plantings, cottage gardens, and butterfly garden. Low maintenance, and deer and rabbit resistant.
