Description: This is a dwarf cultivar of the North American native known as Helen’s Flower, or Sneezeweed. It is an herbacious, upright spreading perennial. Pointed green leaves throughout the season begin blooming in late summer. The cheerful daisy-like yellow flowers have a contrasting red ring around the dark brown eye.
Ornamental Features: These beauties begin blooming just as many plants are fading for the season. The unique two-toned flowers blend in beautifully with other late season bloomers like sunflowers. Very attractive as cut flowers, they are a great addition to fall harvest bouquets.
Landscape Features: Looks stunning planted in mass, and mixes beautifully with ornamental grasses. Well suited for borders, cottage gardens or naturalistic areas such as prairies or meadows. This compact variety also works wonderfully in patio containers. Beloved by beneficial pollinators such as bees and butterflies.
