Hosta ‘Earth Angel’ Plantain Lily
Zone: 3-9
Exposure: Part/ Full Shade
Mature Size: 30″ H x 40″ W
Flower Colour: Pale lavender to white

Description: A sport of the popular Hosta cultivar ‘Francee’, ‘Earth Angel’ features large, heart-shaped, blue/green leaves with contrasting irregular margins. Tubular white to palest lilac blooms appear in early to midsummer, rising on spikes held above the foliage.
Ornamental Features: The large and strongly corrugated leaves of this cultivar make it a striking feature in the shade garden. The creamy yellow leaf margins mellow to creamy white as the season progresses, retaining its eye-catching contrast. The lilac, bell-like flowers are attractive to hummingbirds and other pollinators, and rise up to 18″ above the foliage.
Landscape Features: Allow space for this Hosta to grow, and it will become the perfect backdrop in the shade garden. The large, lush leaves have an almost tropical appearance, and look lovely paired with lacy, fern-like foliage.
