Description: A brand new Hydrangea cultivar of the extremely popular ‘Little Lime’. Features tidy green foliage, a rounded habit, and clusters of cone-shaped lime green flowers that change to an intense bright pink as they age.
Ornamental Features: Green foliage throughout the season turns a lovely yellow in fall. The huge, cone-shaped flowers emerge a bright and refreshing lime green with chartreuse overtones. Over the long blooming period that begins in midsummer, the flower panicles deepen to a hot pink starting at the base of the flower. Blooms are excellent for fresh and dried bouquets and attract beneficial pollinators.
Landscape Attributes: Cold hardy, multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with a rounded form. Low maintenance; best pruned in late winter after the threat of extreme cold has passed. One of the only flowering shrubs that will bloom reliably in part shade.
