Description: Large, dark green leaves are tinged with bronze and have contrasting purple undersides. Features bold panicles of large, golden yellow, daisy-like flowers at the end of stems from mid summer to early fall.
Ornamental Features: The large leaves provide lush foliage in shady areas. Starting in midsummer, long reddish stems rise above the foliage and dandelion-like buds burst into cheerful yellow blooms up to four inches in diameter. The flowers are long-lasting and great for cutting.
Landscape Attributes: Is an herbaceous perennial with an upright spreading habit of growth. This is a relatively low maintenance plant, but prefers reliably moist soils. Prefers dappled sun all day or part shade in the afternoons.
