Description: This award winning native North American wildflower cultivar is long blooming and exceptionally hardy. Compact and free-flowering, with low masses of gray-green lance-shaped leaves. Flowers are cheerful and whimsical, much loved by pollinators, and provide a long season of blooms.
Ornamental Features: Starting in early summer, the foliage is smothered in daisy-like flowers with rich red ray petals tipped in a sunny yellow surrounding a central cone. Rich in nectar, the flowers are real magnets for butterflies.
Landscape Features: Ideal for containers, beds, and borders. Excellent as cute flowers in cottage gardens, butterfly gardens or cutting gardens. Drought and heat tolerant, requires little care once established. Few insect or disease problems.
