Description: This popular dwarf Phlox cultivar features plants about half the stature of regular Phlox paniculata varieties with large panicles of individual florets in an intense coral, each adorned with a magenta central eye. The fragrant flowers are beautifully scented, and attract pollinators to the garden.
Ornamental Features: Provides a spectacular, long blooming accent in the mid border, generally rising to about 1.5′ with fluffy panicles of scented blooms rising above the sturdy stems surrounded by deep green, lanciolate foliage. The intense colour is eye-catching and appealing to pollinators and hummingbirds. Its shorter stature works well in planters. Makes a beautifully fragrant bouquet.
Landscape Attributes: Is an herbaceous perennial with an upright spreading habit of growth.This cultivar has increased resistance to powdery mildew, but avoid overhead watering and ensure good air circulation among plants. Deadheading will encourage reblooming.
