Description: This tall Phlox variety features gorgeously scented, huge panicles of stunning royal purple flowers with a red eye. Blooming for weeks starting in midsummer, it will attract pollinators to the garden and makes a beautiful cut flower.
Ornamental Features: Provides a spectacular, long blooming vertical accent in the back border, generally rising to about 3-3.5′ with pyramidal panicles of delightfully-scented, rich purple blooms rising above the stems and lanciolate foliage. The deep royal flowers look sumptuous and are highly attractive to pollinators and hummingbirds.
Landscape Attributes: Is an herbaceous perennial with an upright spreading habit of growth. Makes a beautiful statement in the back border. This cultivar has increased resistance to powdery mildew, but avoid overhead watering and ensure good air circulation among plants. Deadheading will encourage reblooming.
