Description: The Yarrows are fantastic perennials for planting in hot, dry and sunny locations. They also provide good colour throughout the summer months and into early fall. This selection has an array of colour possibilities including shades or pink, purple, red, orange, yellow and white. As a result, these perennials make for excellent cut or dried flowers. In addition, Summer Pastels yarrow won the All-American Selections award in 1990. Remove faded flowers regularly to promote continued blooming. Inclined to spread, so site this carefully or plan to reduce the clumps each spring. Easily divided in fall or early spring. Trim back hard after the first flush of bloom to maintain a compact habit. Heat tolerant.
