Description:
Platycodon ‘Fuji Blue’, commonly known as Balloon Flower, is a charming and reliable perennial. It gets its name from its balloon-like flower buds. They puff up before opening into star-shaped blooms. ‘Fuji Blue’ features rich violet-blue flowers that appear in mid to late summer above a mound of green, lance-shaped foliage.
Compact and easy to grow, it’s ideal for borders, rock gardens, and containers. Once established, it’s drought tolerant and low maintenance. Deadhead to prolong blooming, and allow plants to establish undisturbed, as they do not like being moved.
