Agastache ‘Blue Fortune’
Description: This member of the mint family has sturdy square stems and aromatic, lightly scalloped, heart-shaped leaves. Long Blooming plant with spikes of lavender blue in mid-summer, highlighted by deep green foliage.
Ornamental Features: Foliage and blooms are sweetly licorice scented and edible; it makes a great tea! The flower spikes are striking against the green foliage and bloom for an extended period. The flower spikes make an aromatic addition to summer wildflower bouquets.
Landscape Features: Pollinators flock to the flowers while deer and rabbits generally avoid. Deadhead to lengthen bloom time. Prefers a moist, well-drained soil. Drought tolerant once established.
