Description: This award-winning North American native switch grass forms a narrow, strongly upright clump of blue-green foliage with olive accents.
Ornamental Features: Provides height, texture, and structure in borders or mass plantings. Foliage emerges a blue green in spring with darker olive green accents. In midsummer, tall spikes of airy, golden flowers seem to float above the foliage. Fall colour is a golden tan.
Landscape Attributes: A long lived, warm season grass that will remain upright through winter in areas with little snow. Full sun exposure results in sturdier stems. Low maintenance, deer tolerant, and grows well in a range of soil conditions.
