Mature Size: 18″ H, 18″W

Description: This plant is a bushy, clump-forming perennial producing very long, deep purple flower spikes from mid to late summer. Each spike is composed of individual tiny, star-shaped blooms which open from the base upward, creating a unique, ombre-like colour expression.
Ornamental Features: Flowers are long blooming, typically last in excess of five weeks and make excellent cut flowers. Deadheading will prolong the bloom period. Perfect for borders, cottage gardens, rock gardens or containers. Will tolerate full shade, but flower production is improved with full sun exposure.
Landscape Features: Easy to grow, low maintenance, fairly pest and disease free. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds but resistant to rabbit and deer. Foliage can be sheared back after blooming to keep its appearance tidy.
